Defiance, Ohio - The Great Depression (2006)

Folk Punk
These guys have an upright, a violin AND a cello. That's a lot of F-Holes and I think that scores them major psychosilly points. Don't you?... Hahaha.

Defiance, Ohio is an acoustic punk band (folk-punk). They are known for their extensive touring and intense, enthusiastic live shows.

"If you can't hear god's calling, then you're probably from France!"

Crossfire - One More Time

Psychobilly
Crazy Love has a shit load of bands on it's roster... I'm not a big fan of a lot of them but these japanese rockers do have a nice mix of Rock, Pop and Psychobilly to offer but then again that is my opinion... Check it out if you're not too cool.

Squix - Demo

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

History of SQUIX is begun with a few moments between which a break was about 12 months. As early as beginning of 2005 of Pityuk(double bass ), playing at that time, «everywhere where pour», wanted to play Psychobilly with the Russian-language texts. Not so much because knowledge of English was bad, how many because: At first, the English-language groups are very much, and it was desirable to do something new and near to itself. Secondly, singing in English language is possible and by ear, the more so on concerts. But it would be alike, as if European would sing a song «Katyusha» in Indonesian language, giving out it for Russian.. Thirdly - this was an interesting and intricate problem – such in Russia yet not whoever did. And finally, it was very desirable to say something and, to say so that you were understood by those, who comes on concerts. As early as 2003 Kalya(guitar), playing then in the surf group (Bombers), divided ideas with Franz(drums) about a desire to create proekt Psychobilly, but farther than meetings and talks business did not reach then. Kalya continued to play in the group (Bombers), and Franz remained to play in two groups – (Banana Gang) and (Scary BOOM). After the care of Franz from both groups, he began the search of musicians for creation of the project. Associated and made attempt play almost with all musicians of Psychobilly from St. Petersburg. Searches, tests and errors, proceeded to 2005 year. Franz and Pityuk oftentimes met on concerts, but were little acquainted. Pityuk could not distinctly explain the musical ideas. In 2005 next double bass player went away from Franz, because wanted to play on bongs. Franz called Pityuk and agreed about meeting. They met in a club, but this bout did not drink an alcohol. After a talk both understood that this idea interesting them and they began to try to play. A guitarist is needed was. Search of guitarist, delayed almost on 1,5 years. Tried to play with many guitarists, both young musicians and with professional musicians, but to find understandings with none of them able. Quarrels began. 2007 came year. Franz offered Pityuk to take in hands a guitar and to begin to search bass player, because double bass players no longer was in town. And here remembered about Kalya. Franz called and agreed about meeting. Already three together process of creation something(then it was incomprehensible, that will turn out from it) went quick. Over time interesting music began to turn out. Now the musicians of group write down songs for different collections. On September 12 a group plays in St. Petersburg before Mad Sin. It is debut appearance. The record of album is planned. Now a group completes creation of material for this purpose project and prepares to the record of songs. In September, 2008 a group gives a debut concert in Roks Club in Saint Petersburg before titans of Psycho-music – group MAD SIN. Further a group continues to do new music material and play in the clubs of Saint Petersburg. Song “3000 deth” has been record special for compilation “Fresh Blood of Russian Psychobilly.

Blood Moon Howlers- Demo

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Ben and Matt started the band in the summer '04. They went through a few line up changes until Nans and Robert joined. A year or so later Tristan joined the band as the lead guitarist. In 2006 Nans and Robert left the band and after looking for a drummer unsuccessfully, we came across Mikah who now handles drum duties, and we have also recently added a new bassist Will. Tristan left the band in 2009 to pursue other projects. We are trying to get our first CD finished, but money (as usual) is an issue, so any contributions (t-shirt sales and all of that shit) would be appreciated.

Apathetic Youth- Demo

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

About Apathetic Youth
With influences such as the Quakes, Mad Sin, Nekromantix, Tiger Army and The Stray Cats, Apathetic Youth began their musical journey towards local fame in 2001. Coming sraight from Orange County CA, This 5-piece band knew their musical efforts would pay off in just a short time. Drums, two guitars, a stand-up bass and a psycho-baritone make up for this incomparable band.

These psychobillies first started playing at backyard parties in Santa Ana and in local bars. Now with a large Orange County following, Apathetic-Youth, or as their fans call them AxYx, the band performs at music festivals, clubs, music venues and of course, the same bars and house parties where their fanbase grew.
