Possibly one of the best L.A. bands to come out in a long time. Still one of my favorites. Great live shows. Don't think so?? Check this post out, the sound on these live takes are pretty damn close to the studio takes... Ugh, why do all the GOOD bands have to call it quits??

Defiance, Ohio - The Great Depression (2006)

These guys have an upright, a violin AND a cello. That's a lot of F-Holes and I think that scores them major psychosilly points. Don't you?... Hahaha.

Defiance, Ohio is an acoustic punk band (folk-punk). They are known for their extensive touring and intense, enthusiastic live shows.

What can I say? I Love Mika Miko and I am sad to hear about their 'break-up' but I found this demo recently and now I am happy... for the most part. So now I must share it with whoever doesn't have it in their collection. Pre-Mika Miko recordings. Sound like live demos. Good stuff.
